…students wish to take time before or after school to pray, they may do so. It is just a matter of respecting a person's space for a few moments. Schools cannot endorse religion to children, in public schools, and so public prayers during assemblies, football games, or graduations are unconstitutional. The only way a teacher can have an influence on a child is through teaching a good example of truth, respect for others, and patients.
