It is my belief that Ralph Waldo Emerson was first and foremost a seeker of the truth because of his statement from the essay “Circles,” that reads “Our life is an apprenticeship to truth.”

In conclusion I must say that Emerson was one of the great American philosophers whose works are overflowing with brilliance and whose genius will be remembered throughout the ages.
