The Holocaust was a period in time lasting from 1933-1945, where Adolph Hitler tried to exterminate people that he considered to be inferior to him. He wanted his country to be full of Arians, his perception of the perfect person. An Arian is described as a blonde haired blue-eyed person. a firm believer that we can learn from our historical mistakes, and improve upon them. It may be in the world’s best interest to learn from others mistakes, by teaching what happened during the Holocaust, and why it happened. By teaching this we are not trying to justify the loss of 12 million people, but by educating our youth, we are trying to insure that an event such as the Holocaust won’t happen again.
