Garry Winogrand was a man of extraordinary intelligence, original sensibility, and modest learning who from his early limited successes. He discovered through experiment and intuition. He learned to live in the process of photography. I believe that Winogrand was a refiner, he not only perfected, (if he liked it or not) the "snapshot aesthetic" but also made photography more elegant and alluring.
