The Catcher in the Rye

I didn't understand this book the first time I read it but I do now. I think J.D. Salinger did an excellent job with the subject topic he decided to write about in this book. I don't think the book should be banned. I could do without the vulgar use of words chosen, but if they were left out the book wouldn't be as affective as it is.
