After my many years of being involved in sports I have discovered that there are many different types of athletes. They can be classified by the different reasons they each have for playing a particular sport. There are probably some athletes that do not fall under these categories. These are just the three classifications of athletes that I have been able to establish in my mind according to the different athletes I have been exposed too so far in my life.
