The novel The God of Small Things and the movie Antonia’s Line explore the freedoms that women posses, both in their own sexuality and in the eyes of men. These two stories examine these issues in the women’s world and point of view through the progression of each generation of women. While in The God of Small Things, the women live for “Tomorrow” (321).
