…actual war and they horrible, horrible hardships of everybody. This movie gave me a little taste of what it was like to be alive, even, at the time of this war. I couldn’t imagine going through the war, through the water, through the crowds of people and through the death of you friends and enemies. This movie gave more respect for the war Veterans, who I too would have regarded as somewhat inhumane before.
