…date, and that the use of slurs got in the way that they were trying to make. I do respect, however, the manor in which Crane describes emotions. I can relate to the feelings of the characters. The plot, though simple, gives us a chance to explore Henry's thoughts. That is good usage of the plot. The reading of this book should be seen as an exercise in writing, rather than for the book itself.
