Therefore because of the French and Indian War, King George III knew it was necessary for the Proclamation of 1763, so he could control the land takeovers. The Proclamation Line of 1763 was a very necessary step in preventing another war that would pervade American society. Therefor it is my opinion that King George III made a wise decision in making the Proclamation Line of 1763.
