…not sure either if she really loved him, she had a debate with herself if she even loved him sometimes. She longed so much to be free and her own being and would have accomplished just that if her husband had indeed been dead. Mrs. Mallardís life definitely had its ups and downs but in the end she got what she had always desired life (or death, in this case) with out her husband.
