…she didn't know how to care for the elderly but she stayed because of her hard-earned doggedness. Her job was to also help people die in peace by talking with them. She wasn't afraid of watching people die because she had seen so much of it after the bombing. The atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima affected every person who lived there. Miss Toshiko Sasaki overcame the adversities and came out a stronger and changed person.
