…Even with the two different motives, the characters of Atticus Finch, Scout, and Harrison Bergeron all keep there stature of being someone that is hard to change. I believe that it really isn't about being a free-thinking individual, more like being a strong-minded individual. The pressures of the world push for you to conform to the usual person, but if you are strong enough, you will keep your beliefs and take the road less traveled.
